Schroth Physical Therapy provided by Gary Krasilovsky, PT, PhD, SST

Specializing in the conservative management of scoliosis based upon the

Schroth (TM)  method.

Dr. Krasilovsky does not bill insurance companies directly.  The patient is expected to pay for therapy sessions and then may apply to their insurance company for reimbursement.  Therapy sessions are typically a full hour (more or less as necessary) rather than allocating time for dealing with insurance companies.  Receipts are provided using typical physical therapy insurance codes.

When provided by a licensed physical therapist who is also certified as a Schroth Scoliosis Therapist, Scoliosis Specific Exercises and management are considered under the umbrella of physical therapy services.  If you have insurance coverage for out-patient physical therapy, you should be eligible for reimbursement at their standard out-patient rate.  Dr. Krasilovsky is not an in-network provider, and therefore your reimbursement will most likely be at the insurance company's out of network rate.  However, if there is not another Schroth provider near you, your insurance company should reimburse you at their in-network rate (yes, you have to ask them to do this).
